From initial days, Vazhai faced quite a few challenges in functioning at the best of our abilities. As of now, our operational challenges are

• Number of students in Vazhai is directly dependent on the number of mentors, since we work on one-to-one mentoring model. We need more mentors to support more number of students.
• Girl children in our society need more guidance and support. To achieve a 50-50 male – female student ratio, we need more female mentors, which is one of Vazhai’s biggest challenges. At this point, unfortunately the ratio is 80-20. A female can really understand the need to bring up the girl children struggling for guidance in villages. We need "Women Power" in Vazhai. Join us.
• We need more supporters, who can sponsor the whole or a part of workshops, maintain website, and handle memberships. Click here.
• Vazhai is full of volunteers who spare their leisure time for future generation. With increasing activities, we are unable to manage the volume of work and we are in search of a dedicated full time employee for remuneration. If you wish to join us, please Click here.
