Mentoring is the essence of Vazhai. It takes nothing special to be a mentor, except for the willingness to spend time with the children. A mentor is one who is

• Able to spend 12 days (6 weekends in a year) with the children in workshops
• Stay in constant touch with the children through phone calls and letters

Supporter

A supporter is one who stands behind in all of our activities. Persons who practically cannot take the role of mentors can support us in all possible ways.

• Help us in preparing materials and designing activities for the workshops.
• Generate and/or contribute funds.
• Material purchase.
• Maintain website.
• Event coordination (for workshops)
• Just spread a word about Vazhai to your friends and family and get more members.
• Provides school supplies like notebooks,dictionaries,uniforms,bed sheets,footwear,pencil boxes,stationery items etc
• It is the cause that matters and not the medium. If you would like to take up such an activity in your neighbourhood or some other location, we are more than willing to help/support/guide. Please get in touch with us.
