| Started in April 2005, Vazhai adopted 15 students (who are in their eighth standard) in its first year and currently works with 60 schools students in Dharmapuri district, which is considered to be the most backward district in the State. |
| The students chosen are from Government High Schools at Chellamudi, Chinnavathalapuram, Yeriur, Alepuram and Neruppur villages. |
